Field Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to perform equipment inspections and ensure compliance with audit processes. This role involves conducting detailed inspections on various equipment types, entering results into specialized applications, and ensuring corrective measures are implemented effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general inspections of assets to identify missing or modified hardware, safety devices, and any discrepancies.
• Measure asset elevation and verify alignment within specified benchmarks.
• Verify asset level from side to side and end to end, ensuring adherence to benchmarks.
• Ensure proper installation and alignment of asset components, including T-Plates, legs, hangers, and pulleys.
• Perform tag verification procedures and ensure issues identified during inspections are corrected by on-site installation teams.
• Enter inspection results into the Amazon OZARK application.
• Submit weekly site reports detailing inspection findings and corrective actions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in mechanical inspection and troubleshooting.
• Experience in field service roles, particularly those requiring mechanical expertise.
• Ability to travel extensively as this role requires 100% travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience with extensive travel is highly desirable.

Work Environment

The role requires frequent travel to various sites, conducting inspections using the Amazon OZARK application. The technician must be prepared for a dynamic work environment, often working on-site to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
