The Field Service Technician is responsible for independently commissioning, starting up, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment at customer sites. This role involves performing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic installations in accordance with established standards. The technician will execute system calibrations, I/O checkouts, and functional testing to ensure proper system performance. This position also requires conducting preventive maintenance and proactively identifying potential equipment issues, as well as completing accurate and timely service documentation to support billing and customer follow-up. The field service role encompasses three main areas: startup and commissioning of new systems, emergency break-fix repair activity, and scheduled maintenance.

Work Environment
The work environment is field service, which could involve working indoors or outdoors in various weather conditions and safety environments. The role requires 80% travel, typically leaving Monday via car or plane and returning Thursday, with office work on Fridays. This cycle repeats weekly.
