Field Service Technician

Job Title

Conduct field operations for sampling, testing, and inspections using ASTM, DOT, ACI, AWS, and IBC standards.

Assist engineering staff with project execution and management.

Read and understand construction plans and specifications.

Perform laboratory analysis of construction materials.

Engage in physical activities such as walking through uneven terrain and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Travel up to 50%, primarily within the Southeast.

Essential Skills

Experience in CMT, construction materials testing, and inspection.

5 years of CMT experience.

ACI and AWS certifications.

Proficiency in concrete and materials testing.

Ability to achieve required certifications following training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preference for candidates with a two-year or four-year degree in science, construction, or engineering.

Current certifications (DOT, ACI, AWS) preferred.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Experience in civil engineering or construction.

Proficiency in report writing, organization, and technology utilization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
