Advanced Machinery Technician
Install and commission advanced machinery at customer and dealer locations
Provide basic operational training to end users on-site
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues using standard testing equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
Travel to customer and dealer facilities via car or airplane
Conduct on-site intake of customer-reported equipment malfunctions and service concerns
Communicate technical findings and resolutions to both customers and internal management
Qualifications – Required and Preferred:
- Associate degree in electronics or equivalent hands-on experience
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems, machining materials, tooling, and end mills is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to professionalism and ethical communication
- Capable of working independently and staying composed under pressure, especially when addressing customer concerns
- Naturally inquisitive with a knack for identifying and resolving technical issues
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
10 % yearly bonus based on sales. Benefits are very good.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Schaumburg, IL.
