Field Service Engineer

This role requires engineering knowledge and expertise within the Technical Services department, emphasizing consumer products. The position demands a blend of technical skills and interpersonal aptitude to initiate and complete technical assignments focusing on product performance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technically valid field investigations, effectively communicate results, and coordinate follow-up activities.
• Provide technical training to field sales staff and customers as necessary.
• Participate in the design and creation of training materials to enhance brand value and customer effectiveness.
• Organize and plan training sessions, collaborating with various vendors to cover necessary materials.
• Demonstrate increasing skill with technical information while providing technical support to internal staff and customers.
• Utilize engineering knowledge to achieve engineering objectives and support internal engineering projects.
• Communicate with vendors for effective involvement and coordinate activities to meet goals within predetermined timelines and resource limits.
• Complete additional tasks as required by Technical Services management.

Work Environment

The role involves high travel, with 50% of the time spent onsite with customers. Typically, weekends are spent at home.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cornelius, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
