Field Service Engineer
This role involves traveling to large material handling sites to perform controls qualifications, specifically I/O checks, on newly installed equipment. It is ideally suited for someone centrally located, with projects mainly in the western region.
Responsibilities
- Travel to various sites up to 80% of the time, following a schedule of Monday to Friday over two weeks, with a subsequent one-week break.
- Perform I/O checks on 10-20 conveyance lines at material handling sites.
- Engage in PLC programming and debugging with vendors, primarily using Ladder Logic, which comprises 75% of the role.
- Ensure vendor quality assurance and compliance with IQ/OQ standards.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in PLC Programming.
- Proficiency in Python or Java.
- Strong controls engineering knowledge.
- Ability to travel extensively.

- Experience in vendor management.
- Knowledge of IQ/OQ standards.
Work Environment
On weeks when not traveling, candidates have the flexibility to work remotely from home. The role involves considerable travel, estimated at Monday to Friday for three weeks followed by a one-week break. The team is expanding, offering potential for more work beyond the initial contract.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
