Develop and train an AI tool for export control tagging. Create and refine gold standard data sets for AI tool training and validation. Collaborate with user teams to ensure the AI tool functions effectively. Streamline the export control tagging process. Understand and apply federal government regulations related to export control. Assist in building the rationale for export control tagging decisions. The Export Control Compliance Engineer will focus on ensuring GE Vernova Hitachi and Global Nuclear Fuel products and supporting documentation/records are properly classified for compliance with US Export Control regulations.
Responsibilities: Subject matter expert to ensure products and any supporting documentation has been properly classified in accordance with US Export Control regulations specified by the US NRC, US Dept of Energy and the US Dept of Commerce. Work within a larger task team to develop and deploy enhancements within GE Vernova Hitachi's Export Control management process. Develop procedures and processes to utilize export control management tools.
