What You'll Do

• Perform testing and component-level troubleshooting on complex aerospace and high-reliability electronic assemblies
• Diagnose test equipment or fixture issues and help implement corrective actions
• Set up, adjust, and operate both manual and automated electrical test equipment
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to clarify designs and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Document and communicate technical findings to Test, Design, and Engineering leaders
• Determine test methods and sequences for new assignments; offer technical guidance to peers as you grow
• Cross-train into additional technical functions such as test automation, hardware validation, or fixture design
• Coordinate daily tasks with your supervisor to help meet production schedules

Must-Have Qualifications

(Experienced candidates AND early-career candidates who gained these skills through internships or academic projects are encouraged to apply.)

• Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level
• Strong diagnostic ability using oscilloscopes, meters, and standard bench instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Familiarity with electrical/electronics testing processes and best practices
• Hands-on experience from internships, labs, senior design projects, co-ops, or previous technician roles

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to automated test systems or scripting
• Hardware test or validation experience
• Ability to create or follow structured test plans
• Basic CAD skills for simple drawings or test fixtures

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bohemia, NY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
