Engineering Test Technician

Job Title

Essential Skills

Troubleshooting skills in mechanical and test equipment contexts.

Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing design, and prototype testing.

Research and development experience in engineering testing.

Mechanical skills and a solid understanding of test equipment.

Broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.

Min Voc-Tech degree in HVAC with 0 - 2 years of experience.

Experience with lab systems, process controls, and associated processes.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office Suite.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment.

Knowledge of instrumentation related to refrigeration and gas combustion equipment.

Formal training or demonstrated ability in LabVIEW or similar programming software.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.20/hr.
