Engineering Technician

Collaborate with engineers to ensure that molds, fixtures, and tooling are properly designed and functional. You will report issues for corrective action, follow production procedures, and ensure the delivery of high-quality parts. Maintaining quality control through inspections and accurate data tracking from Travelers to databases will also be a key component of this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure the proper design and functionality of molds, fixtures, and tooling.
• Report and address issues to initiate corrective actions.
• Follow production procedures to ensure high-quality part delivery.
• Maintain quality control through thorough inspections.
• Accurately track data from Travelers to databases.

Essential Skills

• Experience in fabrication, prototype development, and working with aluminum and epoxy.
• Support for engineers in R&D and production environments.
• Experience with fixtures, building prototypes, and working with materials and substrates.
• Proficiency in working with CNC machines, thin films, ceramics, and thermal testing.
• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Ability to gain Security Clearances.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 7 plus years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with materials such as ceramic, polyurethane, and acrylic.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
