Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing fire trucks for municipalities nationwide. This role integrates the inside sales team with the engineering department to ensure seamless communication and efficient manufacturing processes. As an Engineering Technician, you will work closely with dealers to modify and edit quotes, ensuring they align with manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize quote writer software and DraftSite to ensure clean quotes from dealers, with an equal focus on each platform.
• Review and adjust 'preset assemblies' in 2D drawings to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with dealers to confirm order requests and validate the feasibility of fire truck designs.
• Modify 2D drawings in AutoCAD to meet specifications.
• Act as a liaison between the engineering team and dealer network.
• Update and modify offerings within the quote writer software.

Essential Skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in 2D CAD software
• Experience with Excel
• Mechanical and schematic understanding

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexis, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
