We are seeking a motivated and leadership-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Engineering Technician in Annapolis, Maryland. This role involves setting up, running, and troubleshooting test sets for various programs, supporting technicians, and collaborating with engineering teams to develop hardware and test system improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, run, and troubleshoot test sets down to the component level for a wide variety of programs.
• Support technicians by troubleshooting hardware and test sets.
• Mentor and train new and experienced technicians on newer test sets.
• Gather and analyze test data to identify early trends.
• Support program meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering to develop and implement hardware and test system improvements and solutions.
• Assist engineering in creating designs and developing circuits, processes, and operations to ensure proper function of products and test equipment.
• Develop, construct, and support tests of highly complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems.
• Perform repairs and calibrations as necessary.
• Perform initial procedural tests on new and/or changed equipment and make modifications/calibrations as required.
• Assist Test Engineering with the development of processes, test procedures, and revision notices.
• Perform integration testing of software and hardware.
• Adhere to established procedures and practices to ensure compliance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school graduate or recognized equivalent.
• Graduate of a two-year full-time technical school in electronic technology or six months of military electronic school/training plus two years of military experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic systems.
• Experience using MS Office tools.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as an electronics technician or equivalent.
• Ability and experience troubleshooting down to the component level.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance, US citizenship required.
• Experience testing RF circuitry and troubleshooting to the component level by following schematics.
• Test tool development experience.
• Test procedure development experience.
• Experience with LabView software.
• Experience training and/or mentoring other personnel.

Work Environment:

• The position is based in a cleared facility in Annapolis, MD, working within a team of 21 Technicians.
• The job may require flexible hours, including second shift and overtime.
• All employees in this group must come in with at least a Secret Clearance.

Job Type & Location:

• This is a contract position based out of Annapolis, MD.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
