Engineering Technician
Collaborate with engineers to ensure molds, fixtures, and tooling are properly designed and functional. Report issues for corrective action, follow production procedures, and ensure high-quality part delivery. Maintain quality control through inspections and accurate data tracking from Travelers to databases.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure the proper design and functionality of molds, fixtures, and tooling.
- Identify and report issues for corrective action.
- Follow established production procedures to ensure high-quality part delivery.
- Maintain quality control through regular inspections and accurate data tracking.
- Support engineers in R&D and production environments, focusing on prototype fabrication and various forms.
- Assist in building prototypes and working with a range of materials, substrates, and machines.
Essential Skills
- Experience supporting engineers in an R&D and production environment.
- Proficiency in prototype fabrication and working with materials like aluminum, epoxy, ceramics, and more.
- Experience with fixtures, CNC, Thin Films, and thermal testing.
- Ability to gain Security Clearances.
- 7 plus years of experience in relevant fields.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical engineering, ceramics, polyurethane, and acrylic.
- Ability to work with thermal processes (heating things up).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
