Join our team as an Engineering Technician, where you will play a crucial role in providing product design support for both standard and custom power units. You will work closely under the guidance of Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineers, performing key activities such as prototyping, troubleshooting, and validation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist design engineers in prototyping new product designs and subassemblies.
• Participate in regulatory agency testing or preparation, including UL, CSA, and TUV.
• Prototype concepts using available materials.
• Assist in debugging production problems.
• Create manufacturing instructions for new designs.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with power or electromechanical products.
• Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with electrical wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Two-year degree.
• Experience with low and medium voltage power systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office solutions, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley View, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
