What You'll Do

  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot components, products, and systems.
  • Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and precision instruments to build and maintain assemblies.
  • Inspect components for quality and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Document test results and maintain accurate production records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Skills & Interests:
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and preliminary documentation.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
  • Basic knowledge of soldering, crimping, and PCBA work (training provided if needed).
  • Bonus Points For:
  • Familiarity with IPC J-STD-001 soldering standards.
  • Exposure to ERP/MRP systems or Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • A&P or ASE certifications.

Work Environment

You'll work in a state-of-the-art R&D lab, collaborating with engineers on innovative projects. Personal protective equipment is provided to ensure a safe and productive environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
