Engineering Supervisor

The Engineering Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the engineering team, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing a team of engineers, coordinating with other departments, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. The Engineering Supervisor will also ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the engineering team.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth project execution.

• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Develop and implement procedures to meet Worker's Compensation, ISO certification, and governmental safety practices such as OSHA, UL508A, NFPA, and NEC.

• Analyze, develop, and implement work procedures and standards to expedite project flow and improve department efficiencies.

• Provide support to the estimating team on resources and scope for quoting needs, including customer relationship building, scope definition, cost modeling, and proposal delivery and closeout activities.

• Review tasks and responsibilities of staff members in conjunction with the Project Manager, considering competencies and scheduling demands.

• Discuss all pertinent customer-related project information with affected parties, including account managers and team members.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC programming and controls engineering.

• Experience in automation and HMI programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Worker's Compensation, ISO certification, and practice requirements.

• Knowledge of OSHA, UL508A, NFPA, and NEC standards.

Work Environment:

The role requires working closely with the engineering team and other departments to ensure project success. The work environment involves a focus on safety and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. There may be a need to interact with customers and manage various project-related activities. The position may require standard business hours with potential for additional hours based on project demands.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenville, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
