We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead rehabilitation and replacement design projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including traffic, highway, geotechnical, civil, and environmental experts. You will supervise engineering staff and maintain strong client relationships, delivering comprehensive design packages for PennDOT submissions.
Manage rehabilitation and replacement design projects from start to finish.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as traffic, highway, geotechnical, civil, and environmental.
Supervise engineering staff and ensure project objectives are met.
Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
Deliver complete design packages, including load ratings, calculations, plans, specifications, and schedules for PennDOT submissions (TS&L, Final Plans, PS&E).
Project management experience.
Expertise in bridge design and transportation.
Active PE License in Pennsylvania.
10+ years of engineering experience, including 4–7 years in management.
Proficiency in PennDOT bridge software, STAAD, MicroStation, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.
Extensive experience across all phases of bridge projects (repair, rehab, reconstruction, replacement) in both urban and rural settings.
Deep familiarity with PennDOT standards and procedures.
Strong team management and change management skills.
Work will primarily be conducted in the office a few days a week, with some flexibility for remote work. However, a presence with the team is required to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
This is a Permanent position based out of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
