Quality Assurance - Individual Contributor

The position involves developing and implementing methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure products are flawless and function as intended. The role requires designing and installing sophisticated testing equipment, performing product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels, and minimizing defects and failure rates. The candidate will analyze reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Collaboration with supplier representatives on quality problems and contributing to supplier quality improvement programs is also a key aspect.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
• Design and install sophisticated testing equipment.
• Perform product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.
• Analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supplier representatives on quality problems and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
• Contribute to supplier quality improvement programs.

Essential Skills:

• Ability to develop and implement process control and improvement methods.
• Experience with designing and installing testing equipment.
• Proficiency in performing product testing and analysis.
• Capability to analyze reports and defective products for trend identification.
• Skill in collaborating effectively with supplier representatives on quality issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within the discipline.
• Ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.

Work Environment:

The role requires working independently with minimal supervision. The candidate will use judgment in applying professional expertise within a structured work environment, focusing on quality assurance tasks.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Lakeland, Florida.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $82.00 - $88.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
