Embedded Software Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, integrate, and test advanced embedded systems in a dynamic, rapid-prototyping development environment. This role will focus on heterogeneous SoC devices and requires a minimum of 10 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Take a leadership role in collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and transform these needs into cutting-edge solutions using emerging technologies.
- Work collaboratively within the team to spearhead the development of embedded software products, maintaining high standards and meeting tight deadlines.
- Participate in and oversee code reviews to ensure quality.
- Maintain clarity and precision in process execution to support ongoing development and client satisfaction.
- Ensure the creation and upkeep of comprehensive documentation on developed software and methodologies.
- Optimize system performance and conduct thorough developer and integration validation for all developed software.
- Implement rigorous validation methodologies to quickly identify and resolve issues, ensuring reliable and high-performance software.
Essential Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Embedded C/C++ with at least 10 years of experience.
- Expert knowledge and application of Embedded Linux Systems.
- Experience with device trees, memory-mapped I/O, and networking.
- Strong experience in debugging complex existing code bases in C and C++.
- Ability to obtain a clearance; US citizenship is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in high-speed protocols such as PCIe and Ethernet technologies.
- Experience with ARM processors and programming in C and C++ for ARM architectures.
- Deep understanding of testing and debugging methodologies specific to embedded software.
- Skilled in managing concurrency, threading, and ensuring memory safety.
- Proficiency in data structures and code optimization techniques.
- Expertise in Kernel Memory Access (DMA).
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Expertise in FPGA/SoC with IP Integration and Embedded Design.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
