Project Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Project Engineer, responsible for leading electrical design, documentation, and assembly for custom equipment projects. This role serves as the electrical technical lead, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. The position involves supporting production, testing, and project planning while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design activities, set milestones, and participate in technical reviews.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards in all projects.
- Support production staff and contractors onsite for electrical assembly and wiring.
- Perform factory and site acceptance testing, troubleshoot issues, and manage power distribution.
- Drive project planning efforts and maintain strong communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in custom design and working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering principles.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software.
- Ability to interpret complex schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- A.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience or B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.
- Experience in nuclear quality assurance and design for manufacturing.
Work Environment:
- This role involves a combination of office and factory settings, with exposure to mechanical parts and airborne particles.
- The environment can be loud during assembly and testing.
- Occasional travel is required for site acceptance testing.
Pay and Benefits:
- The pay range for this position is $102000.00 - $121000.00/yr.
