Electrical Engineer
Join our dynamic new product engineering group to assist with multiple product launches over the next 12-18 months. You will work at the circuit and microcontroller level, both theoretically and hands-on, contributing to cutting-edge projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test micro-controller based designs.
- Perform schematic layouts and circuit analysis.
- Execute life cycle development tasks.
- Coordinate and manage regulatory conformance for FCC, UL, and other standards.
- Prepare presentations, technical reports, and patent disclosures.
- Maintain current knowledge of changes, advancements, and improvements within your area of assignment or specialization and incorporate these where applicable.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout.
- Experience with Altium for PCB Layout.
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers.
- At least 2 years of experience in Altium PCB Layout.
- At least 2 years of hands-on test specification experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Physics.
Work Environment
This role is on-site at a small engineering and testing facility with less than 50 employees. You will work on a team of 8 in a business casual environment. The team collaborates globally, offering a supportive and enriching experience for engineering professionals. The position includes 2 weeks of paid time off and 6 major holidays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to full-time Hire position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
