Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will be primarily responsible for hardware integration in support of covert surveillance systems. This role includes both level 3 and level 4 openings, where the engineer will utilize Cadence Orcad/Allegro for development. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines is crucial to support the packaging of hardware. The Electrical Integration Engineer will also perform DFX reviews, drive hardware design strategy, and support research and development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware to support covert surveillance systems.
• Utilize Cadence Orcad/Allegro for hardware development.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for hardware packaging.
• Perform DFX reviews and drive hardware design strategy.
• Support research and development efforts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in hardware integration and electrical design.
• Experience with Cadence Orcad and Allegro, or Altium.
• Knowledge of battery systems and power supplies.
• Proficiency in control electronics and schematic design.
• Ability to perform mechanical packaging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Over 5 years of experience in relevant fields.
• RF knowledge for Level 4 position.
• ITAR compliant (US Person).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
