Electrical Engineer

Contract To Hire Position

Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.

Generate power distribution schematics, load calculations, and single-line diagrams.

Review P&IDs, system quotes, and OEM documentation to ensure accurate system design.

Produce revision and as-built drawings and support documentation throughout fabrication and testing.

Work closely with Applications, Sales, and Project Engineering teams to support project scope and system requirements.

Coordinate with panel shop personnel, drafters, and field service teams to support build, integration, and commissioning.

Interface with OEM vendors to ensure proper component selection and design compatibility.

Ladder logic fundamentals

I/O mapping and addressing

Troubleshooting basics and diagnostic interpretation

Assist Engineers with control panel integration, PLC hardware layouts, and system wiring.

Gain hands-on exposure to common automation platforms (Allen-Bradley).

Support simple PLC-related tasks during testing and commissioning under supervision.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Hanover Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hanover Park, IL.
