Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer is an integral part of the team, taking projects from conceptual design to completion in collaboration with the design team and our clients. As the Electrical Engineer, you will assist Project Managers and other leads in achieving goals for small-to-mid scale projects, including budgetary estimates, resource assignment, client service, and business development. You will also assume a primary role in project design, including coordination, oversight, and client contact activities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate electrical systems, specifications, and requirements for conformance to code and budget compliance.
- Assess architectural, structural, and mechanical systems for their ability to conform to codes and electrical designs.
- Perform preliminary load calculations to support electrical budgets.
- Create one-line diagrams and space utilization layouts and electrical programming matrices.
- Provide code compliance assessments.
- Create conduit routing and space allocation details.
- Coordinate with utility companies.
- Coordinate space and systems with other trades.
- Provide electrical power, lighting, and system layouts to support budget pursuits.
- Assist project management with budget support functions and technical support.
- Assist Pre-construction/Estimating group with technical support as needed.
- Work with customers, consulting engineers, and designers to develop projects from conceptual budgets through construction documents.
- Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and trade interferences.
- Verify that completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing and dealing with highly technical and important issues that directly impact operations.
- Contribute to overall team success by performing related duties.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, ACCUBID, and AutoCAD.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering space within design.
- Strong knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD.
- Experience with utility coordination.
- Ability to perform one-line diagrams and load calculations.
- Expertise in electrical engineering and design.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
