Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to manage and execute electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry and internal standards. The role requires a hands-on approach to design and troubleshooting, working collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage electrical design projects with minimal guidance, overseeing schedule, budget, and task breakdowns.
- Design and develop a range of support systems, including engine wiring harness and control systems, facility interconnecting wiring diagrams, facility control systems, and data acquisition systems.
- Create high-level and low-level detailed wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Facilitate internal and external design reviews, collaborating with project management and customers.
- Work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software engineers in a cross-functional environment.
- Ensure designs and drawings comply with industry standards and internal guidelines.
- Provide feedback to engineering management on work progress and status.
- Collaborate with a team of electrical engineers, designers, drafters, and management to produce project deliverables.
- Collect and interpret information from a variety of design inputs including previous designs and customer specifications.
- Support existing customers with equipment and services, providing troubleshooting instructions on familiar work packages.
- Participate in a continuous improvement culture by providing recommendations and implementing enhancements to current methods and procedures.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical engineering, electrical design, and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with design and development of wiring harnesses and junction boxes.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design concepts, standards, and practices.
- Must have an AAS Degree and 4+ years or a BSEE and 2+ years of experience.
- Related industry experience required based on the Electrical Engineering level.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CE and ATEX regulatory standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with data acquisition and control systems, power distribution systems, and building electrical ducting and services.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Brighton, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
