Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to large-scale projects through innovative electrical designs and effective problem-solving. This role demands a proficient understanding of power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification to ensure the reliability, safety, and operational productivity of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical designs for large-scale projects.
  • Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection.
  • Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective resolutions.
  • Lead and direct engineers, designers, and support personnel on large-scale projects.
  • Design embedded processor-based digital equipment.
  • Consider EMI/RFI compliance in hardware system architecture.
  • Conduct investigative and qualification testing to military and aerospace requirements.
  • Write engineering technical reports for multi-year aerospace development programs.
  • Assist with the introduction of new technologies to ensure product reliability and safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components for first and continuing production articles.
  • Collaborate with engineers of other disciplines to meet technical objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.

Essential Skills

  • 3-6 years of experience in aerospace and defense electrical engineering.
  • Experience with high voltage aerospace control systems and avionics.
  • Proficiency in electrical testing procedures and board design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Component evaluation and new component testing.
  • Obsolescence avoidance for electronics and components.
  • Experience in PCB design and avionics electrical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
