Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems for a variety of building types, ensuring their functionality, safety, and adherence to code compliance. You will perform detailed electrical calculations, including load analysis, voltage drop assessments, and short circuit evaluations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate lighting and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for various building types.
• Ensure systems meet functionality, safety, and code compliance.
• Perform detailed electrical calculations such as load analysis and voltage drop assessments.
• Conduct electrical load studies and select appropriate equipment.
• Develop comprehensive layout plans for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate lighting and power systems.

Essential Skills

• 4 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• BS in Engineering, preferably electrical.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Revit experience is preferred but not required.
• MEP experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr. This company offers a competitive salary along with paid time off to support work-life balance.
