As an Electrical Engineer, you will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company safety and environmental policies and procedures. You will take proactive measures to prevent hazards and noncompliance, review equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions. You will also design systems and equipment to address problems or enhance asset value. Your role will involve project execution for capital projects, including equipment specification formulation, project cost control, construction oversight, and startup management. You will work with the plant's power distribution system, including 3-phase 2300 and 480 voltage AC, and 250 voltage DC.
Responsibilities
The role is based in a 24/7, 365-day coke plant, requiring off-hours availability and significant fieldwork in a dusty, hot, wet, and potentially dangerous environment. The candidate must be comfortable working in both office and industrial settings, including wearing required PPE and performing tasks involving heights, stairs, uneven surfaces, and extended periods of computer work. The engineering team includes 2 Mechanical Engineers, 2 Chemical Engineers, and an Environmental Manager.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
