Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer plays a key role in transforming project concepts into completed designs, collaborating closely with the design team. This position supports Project Managers and other leads in achieving goals for small-to-mid scale projects, focusing on budgetary estimates, resource assignment, client service, and business development. The Electrical Engineer also leads in project design, including coordination, oversight, and client contact activities.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate electrical systems, specifications, and requirements for code compliance and budget adherence.
- Assess architectural, structural, and mechanical systems for compatibility with codes and electrical designs.
- Perform preliminary load calculations to support electrical budgets.
- Create one-line diagrams, space utilization layouts, and electrical programming matrices.
- Provide code compliance assessments.
- Develop conduit routing and space allocation details.
- Coordinate with utilities.
- Coordinate space and system arrangements with other trades.
- Design electrical power, lighting, and system layouts to support budget pursuits.
- Assist project management with budget support and technical aspects of projects.
- Provide technical support to the Pre-construction/Estimating group as needed.
- Collaborate with customers, consulting engineers, and designers to advance projects from conceptual budgets to construction documents.
- Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and trade interferences.
- Ensure completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing and addressing technical issues impacting operations.
- Contribute to overall team success by performing related duties.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with Bluebeam and ACCUBID.
- 4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, particularly in design.
- Capability in utility coordination.
- Ability to perform one-line diagrams and load calculations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and design.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr. 401k match, bonus, gas card, growing electrical team
