Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead engineering development, prototyping, design verification, and transition to production on complex analog, digital, and radio frequency (RF) products.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally across the organization with program management, procurement, operations, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, test, production, business development, and contracts.
- Create innovative ideas in support of internal research and development.
- Generate and implement improvements in product design and test throughput.
- Interface directly with customers and suppliers to support technical issues.
- Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to engineering and test staff.
- Research and apply electrical engineering principles and theories to solve customer problems.
- Support full program life cycles, including concept, specification, prototype, production, and sustainment.
- Lead teams of design engineers using established design and development process models such as CMMI, Six Sigma for Design, or equivalent.
- Create, review, and approve Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Requests for Variances (RFVs).
- Support and lead systems engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering efforts.
- Create and update corporate and engineering processes and procedures.
- Perform other functions as needed to support the company's goals.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Must be eligible for a secret clearance.
- Experience with PCB projects/knowledge, including design of the board, schematic, circuit, etc.
- Proficiency in Schematic Capture and CAD.
- Knowledge of Military, RF standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with CMMI, Six Sigma for Design, or equivalent process models.
Work Environment:
Work with a team of 7 other electrical engineers on current and future Department of Defense level projects. The role involves both office work and time spent on the electronics manufacturing floor. This position offers growth opportunities with a military contractor, with work and contracts scheduled out for at least 7 years. The dress code is professional attire.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $28.85/hr.
