This is a part-time, flexible opportunity that can complement other professional commitments, with remote work as the norm and periodic onsite visits at key development stages.

The role offers a highly flexible schedule, with workload varying week to week based on project needs and potentially as minimal as a few hours per week. There is potential for longer-term involvement as you support future products and ongoing development efforts. The position supports remote work as the primary mode of engagement, with periodic travel to onsite locations at key stages of development; travel expenses are covered as needed. You will work within a fast-paced product development environment focused on advanced surgical power tools, collaborating with internal mechanical engineers, offshore debug teams, and external development partners. The work centers on modern electromechanical systems, brushless DC motor controllers, power electronics, battery-powered devices, and embedded control technologies, in a setting that emphasizes technical depth, practical problem-solving, and minimal corporate bureaucracy.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
