Schedule: Monday–Friday, Flexible Start Times

This position offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, manufacturing, and assembly while working on custom equipment projects.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and machine documentation for custom equipment.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to design electrical control systems.
• Support machine start-up, testing, and debugging both in-house and at customer sites.
• Create and update electrical and pneumatic schematics using Electrical CAD tools.
• Size and specify electrical and pneumatic components for custom machinery.
• Develop bills of materials and ensure compliance with controls standards.
• Provide service support for troubleshooting machines in the field and via remote assistance.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for new and replacement components.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Minimum 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years in electrical design, preferably in packaging or automation environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Electrical Design, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. Exposure to PLCs, schematic design, and automation systems is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with packaging machinery and PLC programming. Familiarity with vision systems and dimensional analysis.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.27/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
