Professional Electrical Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Professional Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic design team. You will work on a variety of projects, including data centers, industrial buildings, and offices. This role requires close collaboration with staff, clients, vendors, and various disciplines. Occasional travel to job sites for observations and meetings is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems and perform design calculations.
  • Review, sign, and seal project documents.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and prepare record drawings.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and participate in commissioning work.
  • Write and edit electrical equipment specifications and select equipment, systems, and devices.
  • Ensure all projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Expertise in electrical design, MEP, and arc flash studies.
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years designing power systems.
  • EIT certification required; PE preferred.
  • Experience with mission critical projects such as advanced manufacturing, data centers, and healthcare.
  • LEED AP BD+C certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform arc flash studies.
  • Experience with Bluebeam is beneficial.

This position offers the flexibility to work 100% remotely unless you are local to Phoenix, AZ, or Austin, TX, where a hybrid work schedule is available. Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00/yr. 100% premiums paid for medical, dental, vision for employee + family 4% 401(k) match 32 days off - holiday, PTO, and sick time annual professional development budgets for licensure and certifications.
