Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer with 2+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work on multi-discipline building design projects for commercial and government facilities, providing comprehensive electrical engineering services.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of electrical design services, including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents under the direct supervision of a Sr. Electrical Engineer or Principal.
• Participate in the construction phases by conducting field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings.
• Select and layout electrical systems while preparing accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews on assigned projects.

Essential Skills

• 2-4 years of engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of building systems and building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
• EIT certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• US Citizenship is required due to contractual obligations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in engineering.
• Willingness to obtain a security clearance.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position requiring attendance 5 days a week, with work hours starting between 7am-8:30am for an 8-hour workday. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.63 - $43.53/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
