Electrical Engineer

Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing and leading the design of electrical control systems. This role ensures the safe, effective, and efficient operation of products and processes, while adhering to quality and production standards and meeting customer documentation and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee electrical control systems for products and processes.
• Ensure compliance with company quality and production standards.
• Develop and implement engineering standards.
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes and customer specifications.
• Manage projects to ensure workflow remains within schedule and budget.
• Regularly work on the floor with equipment.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in electrical product control systems for LV and switchgear assemblies.
• Experience in developing engineering standards and complying with codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical with at least 3 years of experience.
• Ability in electrical power engineering discipline.
• Competency across electrical, mechanical, and software design and commissioning functions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred but not required.
• Commercial and design experience related to renewables, emerging energy markets, data centers, battery systems, stored energy, and charging stations is advantageous.

Work Environment:

This is an onsite position, requiring regular interaction with equipment on the floor. The role involves minimal travel, less than 10%. Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $150,000.00/yr.
