This role focuses on hardware aspects of products throughout their entire lifecycle, including architecture, planning, design, verification, and validation. The successful candidate will provide electrical-design technical leadership for cross-functional new product development and sustaining engineering projects. The hardware design development will involve products based on various sensing technologies, such as optical and electrochemical, and communication technologies, both wired and wireless.
Electrical engineering and design experience, particularly with Verilog and Altera toolset. Experience in designing circuits for embedded systems, including sensing, mixed signal, communication, and power conversion/distribution technologies. Proficiency in electronics testing and writing test cases. Ability to collaborate effectively with Systems Engineers. Experience in regulated industries such as industrial, medical, or defense.
Experience with PCB and FPGA design. Ability to act as a technical mentor within the team. Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience using Jira for requirements and test case management.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
