Your expertise in electronic design using embedded microcontrollers and firmware development will be crucial as we design advanced solutions for telecommunications, industrial, renewable energy, transportation, and defense applications worldwide.
Actively contribute to development projects as part of local and global technical engineering teams.
Design and layout printed circuit boards using the Altium software suite.
Manage the efficient and timely translation of customer needs into viable marketable solutions.
Evaluate electrical systems, products, and applications to design optimal solutions for our customers.
Assure product quality during production by designing electrical testing methods at both board and system levels.
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provide technical support to inside and outside sales personnel.
Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety (OHSA) procedures.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design.
PCB design experience, preferably with large equipment.
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of microcontroller and C programming.
Schematic design skills.
BSEE or MSEE degree required.
1-5 years of product development experience in an electronic/electrical manufacturing environment.
Design experience in power, energy, defense, industrial automation, control industries, telecommunications, RF applications & testing, and DC circuits.
Prior experience in the design of Surge Protection Devices is a plus.
Experience with embedded microcontroller designs, ICE and IDE development tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing requirements and circumstances.
Strong verbal presentation, writing, and computer application skills.
Ability to manage several objectives and changing priorities simultaneously.
Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Willingness to work cooperatively and effectively under pressure.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
