We are seeking candidates with an Engineering degree to join our team as Distribution Engineers and Technicians, focusing on Distribution projects. Successful candidates will receive training from advanced-level Distribution Engineers. Responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, such as structural analysis of poles, guying, cable pulling, electric demand, fault currents, and coordination of protective devices. Additional tasks involve preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, developing a Bill of Materials (BOM), and estimating costs. The role primarily involves design development and coordination with occasional fieldwork after several months on the job.

This is a fully on-site position located in Durham, North Carolina. The office environment consists of a mix of Designers, Engineers, and Design Technicians supporting distribution projects. The setting promotes teamwork, with employees working in groups on various projects. The role is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $29.32 - $29.32/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
