We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to concept to complications projects. This role involves providing electrical design input across a variety of initiatives, including programming, automation, and system integration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with PLCs, robotics, HMIs, and electrical controls, and will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve issues across a range of equipment. In this position, you will lead the design and specification of manufacturing equipment for product handling. Responsibilities include drafting detailed equipment requirements, managing procurement, and overseeing the start-up and debugging of new systems. You will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects, each at different stages of development, and will play a key role in optimizing existing processes. This is a hands-on engineering role that requires both technical expertise and project management capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work with highly advanced automation with low travel (5%).

Responsibilities • Design machines for manufacturing and product handling. • Modify machinery for new model introductions, safety or quality improvements. • Write detailed equipment specifications for the procurement of manufacturing equipment. • Lead in the start-up and debug of new equipment. • Manage projects from inception through completion. • Support and improve existing manufacturing processes.
