Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations. Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Utilize AutoCAD while learning and applying Revit.
• Engage in electrical design for commercial, industrial, and educational projects.
• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and lighting control systems for various project types.
• Perform routine calculations such as sizing distribution equipment, feeders, and branch circuits.
• Generate equipment schedules and code compliance documentation.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit with 3+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in commercial, industrial, and educational projects.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Project Designer in Electrical Engineering for building power and lighting systems.
• Working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and CA Title 24 requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in industrial design, commercial building, and educational project environments.
• Understanding of fire alarm systems and lighting control systems.
• Familiarity with construction documents and code compliance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
