DevOps Engineering Manager

As a DevOps Engineering Manager, you will lead a team to design, implement, and optimize automated software delivery pipelines. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, scalability, and reliability across our engineering organization, ensuring seamless integration of development, testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor DevOps Engineers, set goals, and manage their performance and career growth.
• Define the technical roadmap for DevOps, provide high-level guidance on architecture, and ensure teams follow best practices.
• Implement and oversee automation strategies for development, deployment, and release processes to improve efficiency.
• Oversee CI/CD tools like TeamCity, container orchestration like Docker, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Ansible, and Kotlin.
• Ensure solutions meet security standards and industry regulations and integrate security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead incident management and root cause analysis.
• Act as a liaison between different Engineering groups, teams, and stakeholders to ensure a unified process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent experience implementing CI/CD tools
• Experience working with containerization, IaC tools, scripting languages like Python, and build systems like CMake and Yocto
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supervising others

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office per week and 2 days of remote flexibility.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Very competitive benefits, great annual bonus opportunity and stock incentives on top of base salary and bonus.
