This Design Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and assembly drawings using SolidWorks. Their primary focus will be on the design and development of complete chassis systems, chassis components, chassis cabs, and a variety of other mechanical parts. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mechanical design and be highly proficient in 3D solid modeling. In addition to design work, this engineer will collaborate with the shop floor to verify fit and function, and ensure that designs are accurately translated into physical components.

The role is based in the engineering building, working alongside other engineers. It involves mostly designing at a cubicle with some interaction on the shop floor to ensure designs are correct and to troubleshoot issues. The team comprises 10 engineers, including 8 Design Engineers and 2 Electrical Engineers, with functional leads and mentors available for support. Work schedule is 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, from 6am to 4pm. The position offers 6 holidays and 1 week of PTO.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $46.00/hr.
