Cost Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to join our team. This role involves planning, conducting takeoffs, reconciling construction contractor's costs, performing Excel analysis, and developing Excel spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP and a passion for cost engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage cost-related tasks in construction projects.
• Conduct takeoffs and reconcile construction contractor's costs.
• Perform detailed Excel analysis and develop spreadsheets.
• Engage in change order management and negotiation.
• Utilize Bluebeam and AutoCAD for project tasks.

Essential Skills

• 2-5+ years of experience in cost engineering or project controls.
• Proficiency in construction management and cost analysis.
• Experience with change order and negotiation processes.
• Strong skills in Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
• Background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) is a plus.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
