Controls Engineer III
Are you a seasoned controls engineer with a passion for automation and manufacturing excellence? Actalent is seeking a Controls Engineer III to join our client's dynamic team, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving compliance, supporting capital projects, and optimizing controls systems across their manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on role that blends technical expertise with strategic oversight, offering the opportunity to work on large-scale pharmaceutical and chemical operations that make a global impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of quality records and compliance documentation.
- Troubleshoot and support controls engineering systems in manufacturing environments.
- Oversee work order tracking and workflow management.
- Provide documentation support for capital projects (FMP).
- Deliver SAP/CMMS support to the engineering team.
What You Bring:
- 6+ years of experience in process or manufacturing controls.
- Strong proficiency in Allen-Bradley systems.
- Experience working in GMP-regulated environments with validation protocols.
- Proven success in change management across industries such as life sciences, medical devices, oil & gas, chemical manufacturing, or food & beverage.
- Associate's degree in Controls, Automation, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management and design experience.
- Ability to modernize legacy equipment and systems.
- Experience collaborating with contractors and external partners.
Work Environment:
- 60% desk-based work and 40% hands-on engineering tasks.
- Minimal travel required (<5%).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
