Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to design automation machine components, develop control systems, and create PLC programs and embedded software. The role involves developing and testing complex algorithms, deploying solutions, and troubleshooting issues onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Design automation machine components.
• Develop control systems.
• Create PLC programs and embedded software.
• Develop and test complex algorithms.
• Deploy solutions and troubleshoot issues onsite.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with Toyopuc and Omron PLCs.
• Proficiency in vision systems and PLC programming.
• Ability to read and understand designs and schematics.
• Knowledge of MATLAB and embedded software development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Controls Engineering.
• Familiarity with control system design and integration, mechanical design and integration, and process automation.
• Experience with automation and robotic systems, automated guided vehicle systems (AGV), and autonomous mobile robot systems (AMR).
• Knowledge of information systems, product development, and prototype services.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
