The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for manufacturing equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality. This role involves project management, system configuration, PLC programming, equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The engineer will work on capital projects, interface with stakeholders like vendors, and support process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Essential Skills:
Experience with Rockwell is required. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BS EE) is required. 5+ years of experience in Controls Engineering within a Manufacturing Environment, preferably heavy industrial.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a steel mill, which is a hot and loud environment. The engineer will have a desk outside the plant but will also spend time on the plant floor. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and collared shirts.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
