Civil Project Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team comprised of Land Surveyors, Landscape Architects, and Site Engineers. The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure with Civil 3D and a knack for creating and submitting site plans.

Responsibilities

• Create and draft technical details for land and site development.
• Develop site plans and cost estimates.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design tasks.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
• Contribute to the innovation, sustainability, and aesthetics of our projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• 2+ years of experience in design within AutoCAD, preferably in land development.
• Ability to create and draft technical details and site plans.
• Competency with MS Office software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• B.S or Associates in Civil Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience in stormwater management and drafting.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office setting, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Our team consists of about 30 employees, fostering a family-oriented atmosphere with a strong commitment to community involvement. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
