Entry-Level Civil Engineer – Land Development

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Civil Engineer to support our land development projects. In this role, you will assist in the design and coordination of site development plans, grading, stormwater management systems, and utility layouts. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of site development plans, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
• Prepare construction documents, calculations, and cost estimates under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support stormwater management design and erosion control plans in compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and CAD technicians to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
• Conduct site visits and assist with inspections to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software for drafting and modeling.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Internship or coursework experience in land development preferred. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of stormwater management regulations and local permitting processes. Exposure to site grading and utility design concepts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $90,000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
