Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of civil engineering design projects. The role involves site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway components, ensuring compliance with various regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and support civil engineering projects, including site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway components.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical calculations, design documents, and permitting packages.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in client meetings, municipal hearings, and on-site evaluations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including NYSDEC and local municipalities.
• Oversee work performed by junior engineers, drafters, and field personnel.
• Provide quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on design deliverables.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, including site layout design, grading, drainage systems, utility routing, and sanitary system design for various projects.
• Experience in hydrologic/hydraulic engineering and land development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.

This is a permanent position based out of Huntington, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
