Civil Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various aspects of civil engineering design, including street analysis, planning, geometric design, and conceptual layouts. You will coordinate, write, and edit specifications and drawings, as well as develop calculations and design documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and model streets, grading, and conceptual layouts.
• Coordinate and prepare specifications, drawings, drainage reports, and data sheets.
• Develop calculations, design documents, and permit applications.
• Prepare contract documents including reports, plans, specifications, details, and cost estimates.
• Ensure technical completion of civil project services within budget and schedule.
• Gather information for engineering reports and technical studies.
• Perform quantity calculations and check engineering data to ensure accuracy.
• Review local ordinances and regulations.
• Complete assignments on time and on budget.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, incorporating public engagement in the design process.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience in stormwater management and grading.
• Knowledge of water main and sanitary sewer system design.
• Strong understanding of building and zoning codes.
• Ability to perform drainage calculations and draft drainage reports.
• Fluency with state stormwater regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Highly organized with excellent judgment capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Middletown, NJ.
